The project aims to make students aware of the similarities and differences in school life around the world. We hope for students to be able to evaluate their own educational system in a critical way and for them to see how they can help to improve it in their role as students.

YouthCaN

YouthCaN is a network of youth-directed groups around the world who share an interest in studying and protecting the environment. They coordinate local hikes, explorations, and investigations of environmental topics, and share these explorations through online YouthCaN forums and at local and international events.

This project promotes active and responsible citizenship through international environmental science collaboration. Groups can participate in river excursions with "hands-on" water analysis, professional mentoring and networking, video conferences, and workshop presentations.

The Teddy Bear Project

This project aims to foster tolerance and understanding of cultures other than your own. After teachers register, the facilitator matches you with a partner class. Once paired, classes exchange a Teddy Bear or other soft toy through postal mail and then use online forums and email to interact during the exchange.
